Solidshield Management Panel
Overview
Solidshield Management Panel is the WEB-based control panel of a Solidshield protection server.

Getting started
Solidshield management panel can be accessed using a web-browser by visiting the URL: https://protection-server-address:https-port/
Default credentials to access the WEB services are:
- username: admin@solidshield.com
- password: demoadmin
Adding new products
To create a new product, browse to the Products tab and click the New button, select the owner company and enter its name.
Adding new users
To add a new user, browse to the Users tab and click the New button, select the company, fill in user data and press Add user button.
At this point, the user needs to be assigned to a role which will grants him specific permissions. Browse to Roles tab to create new roles.
Adding new roles
The basic principle of a role based access control, is that a Role assigns Permissions to Resources to any member of that role.
Adding a company admin role
When creating a new role, remember to add the login permission to the management panel resource, if you want the user to be able to use it.
Then you can select the company holding the resources you want to provide permissions for and, optionally, select a product. If no product is specified the permission will be granted to all products of the company.
To conclude, you can add one or multiple users to the role and the permissions will be granted instantly.
Adding a command-line protection bot role
An example of role that cannot login to the management panel is the command-line protection bot role.
For it, you can just tick the Protect permission for a single product or for all products of a company.
